Square Head Golf Drivers

If you're an avid golfer then you've probably seen the new square head drivers that are available from many different manufacturers. You may even be tempted to purchase one of these clubs but aren't sure if you want to spend the added expense. After all, you've probably spent around $500 for your current driver. Golf clubs aren't cheap, and the new square head designs are no exception. You can expect on of these drivers to cost you anywhere between $300 and $500 which is a substantial amount of money for most people.

Before shelling out hundreds of dollars for a fancy new club you may want to take it for a test drive first. If you're not lucky enough to have a friend who owns one of these clubs, consider inquiring at your local pro shop. Some accommodating pro shops will actually let you try out a club before you buy it. You may find that although you tried the club you weren't able to have enough time with it to make your decision. In that case you may want to go with a club known as a clone club.

You can buy what's known as a clone club from various makers. You can also choose to construct your own using various components. It may be difficult to find a square head because this is a fairly new innovation. When you buy a clone club it is basically a cheap replica of a more expensive club. You can use the clone club on the golf course for awhile and see what you think. If you like it, then you may want to consider investing in the real thing. You can always sell an unwanted club to another golfer or even put it up for auction on a site like Ebay.

Square head golf drivers are available from many leading companies. Callaway Golf and Nike Golf are two companies that sell these drivers. You can probably find a number of other brands available on the market these days. If your local pro shop does not carry this type of driver, try shopping online. Shopping for golf clubs online is one way to get the widest selection. Just make sure you know your measurements which is important when buying any type of club.
